Over the years, Dr. Chang has served on the faculty at Harvard and lectured broadly on topics such as implant rehabilitation, full‑mouth reconstruction, TMJ disorders, and esthetics. Her guiding principle is that dentistry should restore both function
and beauty while being delivered in a caring and transparent manner.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do You Accept Insurance, and What Payment Options Are Available?
Yes! We accept a variety of major dental insurance plans. Our team can help you understand your coverage, estimate out-of-pocket costs, and file claims on your behalf. For treatments not covered by insurance, we offer financing options and flexible payment plans.
What Should I Do in a Dental Emergency?
Call us immediately. We reserve slots for urgent care and will do our best to see you quickly. For knocked-out teeth, bring the tooth (holding by the crown), rinse gently (don’t scrub), and if possible, try to place it back in its socket. Otherwise, keep it moist in milk or a tooth preservation solution.
How Often Do I Need Cleanings or Checkups?
For most patients, we recommend dental cleanings and exams every six months. If you have gum disease, systemic conditions (such as diabetes), or risk factors, we may recommend more frequent visits.
How Long Do Crowns, Implants, or Veneers Last?
With proper care, good hygiene, periodic maintenance, and avoiding undue stress, restorations like crowns and veneers can last 10–20 years or more. Implants often last a lifetime when they are placed and maintained properly.
Is Dental Care at Chang Dental Group Painful?
We prioritize comfort and offer local anesthetics, sedation (when appropriate), and gentle techniques. Many patients report minimal discomfort, even for more involved procedures.
Can I Get a Second Opinion on My Treatment Plan?
Absolutely. We encourage you to feel comfortable and informed. We welcome patients who bring notes or proposals from other dentists and are happy to discuss, compare, and explain options.
Do You Offer Any Membership or Loyalty Program?
Yes — we provide a comprehensive dental membership plan (e.g. $149/year) that includes two cleanings, two exams, two sets of X‑rays, and discounts on other procedures — with no deductibles, waiting periods, or surprise copays.
